Annual Report

A company’s Annual Report can help it to achieve any of several goals — communicating the past year’s performance as well as the goals and objectives for the future are the typical priorities. But an annual report can meet a variety of other needs. It can be a corporate development tool, a recruitment aid and marketing brochure. We believe an annual report process should start with the goal in mind. What do we want this document to do? Only after this question is thoroughly considered can decisions be made on what form the report takes. After all, from an investor’s perspective, an annual report can be a simple, low–cost Form 10–K “wrap.”

We do recommend and help clients produce more ambitious Annual Reports when they can serve additional strategic purposes, and in such instances our professionals oversee the development of the report’s theme, design, and content. We work with excellent graphic designers and production firms while we typically take the lead on writing, particularly the letter to shareholders and the operational review.
